Under the former imprint Merit (publications) and currently under The Brother in Elysium, Jon Beacham has been printing and distributing books and ephemera printed letterpress in small print runs. The focus of these pieces are on pre-existing texts of interest, his own personal work –Text & Visual based, and ephemera revolving around Hermitage events and activities. All the typesetting is done by hand from a collection of lead type. Works are available for sale through visiting Hermitage or contacting otherwise.

Letterpress services are offered for hire to those interested in having projects designed, handset, and printed. Broadsides, ephemera, book projects and other printed applications are taken on. Please inquire. A sample of work done is provided on this page.
